Hello everyone, it's another exciting day,hope everyone is fine.Welcome to the hive naija weekly activities, today I will be sharing with you the month that has been significant to my life this year,the month of February ofcourse has is significant to me,as a newbie let me take you through my month,I just graduated from my secondary school last year 2023.I wrote SSCE and JAMB,I applied the federal university of lafia with a JAMB score of 234 to study medicine and surgery,I have always been passionate to be a doctor so that I can aid pain and safe life, After my post UTME i started waiting on my admission,I check my jamb caps frequently but wasn't admitted,time passes and thag year pass by.
In 2024, January came and went by,I started being worried that I wouldn't be admitted cause it was getting so late.
My Dad went to the school to enquire about the admission process but he was told that 90 percent of student were already admitted,in respect to this,my uncle told my Dad that I should come to benue state and I should run through a change of institution and course to veterinary medicine,it wasn't want I aspire for but it was in line with the medical field and I didn't want a year to go by without being in school so I agreed to the suggestion.I was already loosing hope so I didn't check my caps that day before going to Benue.When I arrived we went to the university computer centre to undergo the change of institution and course,but when the operator log in into my account my admission was already processing that was on the 3rd of January my heart was broken my course was changed to science laboratory technology,I cried my eyes out but i couldn't reject the admission cause one penny is indeed better than none and ofcourse God has a plan for everyone.I came back home to Nasarawa State and preparation because in ernest.My admission was granted the next day on the fourth of February.I proceeded with the payment payment on line to aid with my process when I resume.
I did not have a phone, but with this it became comprosory to own one.On the 9th of February my Dad and I went to the phone store to buy a phone,yes my first phone.I was so happy to have a phone of mine.The product of my phone is Infinix hot 30i.Mu admission came late but I am always thankful to God for been admitted,as such I had to resume on the 11th of February two days after the purchase of my phone.
I travelled to school, but before going I was emotionally about Leaving my family and friends.Immediately I reached my house their in school and drop my things I had to go to school to start properly.As a new student popularily known as fresher I new I would have to cope with the system.That day was so stressful and exhausting but at the same time exciting,my friends from my secondary school were also admitted so I was able to see some faces I knew.The actually went before me and were ahead of me in the process so we could not be together.
In the mist of all this I started mine,I paid for my religious dues and identified myself with my state.I then moved to collect my code of conduct form to be filled and submitted,the newly admitted student were so much we had to make a line,we stayed for hour till it got to my turn to pay and fill in the necessary information.After that I moved to the permanent site were I had to summit my receipts,my admission letter and credentials as a whole.We came to white house to summit them,it was approaching evening.
I was famished and tired,we were on the que and it wasn't my turn yet until tje the were close for that day.We had to go home till the next day.I saw so many new faces and also exchange contacts.My first day in my university was indeed a strenous day but a significant month to cherish in my life.
Time moves so fast,am already done with my year one.With just that first step in the month of February even though my journey did not just start that day, but it was the beginning of stepping into a new face of life.I appreciate you for taking out time to go through my post.
