So people are so much excited whenever February 14 is approaching. well, it's a season of love and joy, what else do we expect ? But the problem is people think differently of Valentine. I perceive that the dominant doctrine within the heart of our youth and so called "Gen z" Is completely different from what 14 February was meant to be, thus polluting and abusing what was meant to be called "Love". This article will dig into reasons why we celebrate 14 February, this article will dig into what love is , finally this article will expose the asinine thoughts, believes and abused of this lovely day by the young of our days.
WHY DO WE CELEBRATE VAL? 14 February is a lovely day that was meant to remember a kindhearted who was executed by roman emperor Claudius. February 14 was meant to honor the martyr named St. valentine. according to search, St. Valentine was arrested and imprisoned for his believes and kind heartedness, it is said that he miraculously healed the daughter of his jailer by restoring her sight. Note; the heart he developed that moves him to heal the daughter of his jailer, can only be ascribed to "LOVE", and on the day of his execution, he wrote a letter and send it to the daughter of his jailer, with the write-up, "signed by St.valentine . I deduced that the day was far less romantic going by the origin of this celebration.
THE ABUSE OF LOVE: So to what thought and believes held by the people of our days pollute and abuse the lovely day. Now in our days 14 February is meant for people called lovers, who uses the medium to do all manner of things; women, demanding unnecessarily from men, men taking advantages of lose women and parading with different kinds of ladies, Clubbing and performing all kinds of scummy and unhealthy behaviors, polluting our land. 14 February is now filled with wantonness.
WHAT I THINK OF LOVE AND VALENTINE'S DAY: valentine's day is soon approaching. I Think this day should be celebrated with kindness and passion towards the needy. An expression of love and goodwill to our love ones. Extension of goodness and gifts to the poor within our environment, doing the little we can to make their lives better, helping the needy around us to live and breath. Extending our love to widows, reaching out to the motherless, and putting a smile on people's faces at least.
There are people out there who are struggling to live among us. There are people out there who need a touch for life even if it's just once. There are children abandoned to the streets, there are voices that can not be heard for hunger; these people needs you, they are "the lack that takes away our lack". They screamed within them, and bear stories that can't be told, obviously because nobody cares to listen. They are trapped in their chaos, fainting in their taste, yet nobody cares. They are all around us, yet no one noticed them. In 14 February, I implore you all to move to the street, move to wherever you can find these people, and give them a helping hand. Make them feel reasons to live and reason to smile for yet another day. Note, "they take away your lack". If we conduct this behavior willing and happily with love, we will heal the world. February 14, the Valentines day has been abused and not what's intended to be and for the right purpose until people learn to understand the true meaning of it and why it is important to show love, not lust to each other.
