Over the past few years, Facebook has grown into a bureaucratic pathetic trash social media. They oppose any opinion that differs from the mass media narrative. They actively oppress/block the opposing voices which are a real alarming issue. Social media should exist to help the voices heard, not oppressing the voices just because someone is opposing a random bs media which is trying to shove some pathetic narrative down in the alley.
A few weeks ago, I was banned for 72 hours only because I was opposing a Chinese dude in the comment section of a public page. And one of my friends got banned just because he hailed Hitler in a funny tone. And long before that, a few months ago, I shared an article which highlighted one of the biggest fraudulent study which was published on the Lancet Journal (it was retracted later) and within a day, I noticed that article was removed by Facebook police. These are just a few of the events I have faced. I have an american friend who constantly opposes the mass media, and he gets a 30 day ban so frequently that he had to create another account only to keep in touch with others.
These few events just show how far the Facebook censorship has gone. If you are an active voice, constantly speaking out against the mass media narrative, I'm pretty sure you have also faced those banhammers often. Facebook also let's the hate speech from the minor community slip past their guards but when we speak against it, it's against their community standard.
Personally, I don't have time to see this crap and I am limiting my presence there. The only reason I'm going to keep my account active is that I have soo many great people on my list and it is really nice to have a good convo with them every here and now. Other than that, I'm moving to hive and twitter. Best of luck keeping your pathetic platform alive with all that censorship Zucc.
