I like Trump, but I am not a fanatic like a lot of people that I know. I am more along the lines of the type of person that things that the entire US governance is bought and sold by corporations and therefore nothing can ever change in any sort of meaningful way. I am conservative, but I am not delusional. I don't think that if and when Trump gets back into office that the country is going to magically be a lot better off than it was before. At least we will have a guy in office that kind of knows how to talk and has a pretty quick wit.
During the recent RNC nomination acceptance speech that Trump just finished, I was chatting with a friend of mine online while it was going on.

I wasn't paying absolute attention to it but was doing some other things around the house while I checked the audio. I wasn't listening intently because I get so many blurbs from what Trump has to say that there is no real new information that is going to be said at this thing. It's all just part of the "hooray us!" charade that I guess has to happen every year even though everyone already knows who the nominee is. It all kind of seems like a waste of money to me.
While the speech was going on I noticed something that Trump says an awful lot and my friend and I decided that if we watch the next debate that we are going to turn it into a drinking game.
Trump says "like people/we/they have never seen before" an awful lot.
The worst illegal immigrant invasion the world has ever seen before
The best economy that we've ever seen before
The sharpest increase in crime that has ever been seen before
My doctor said he has never seen someone recover so fast from Covid before
Things like that. It happens a lot.
There are a lot of drinking games like this but we determined in just 10 minutes of listening to the speech that if we were to use hard liquor that both of us would die from alcohol poisoning at about the halfway point of this one speech. So we decided that instead we would have shots of beer and even then, we would probably end up drinking too much.

This might seem very manageable to beer drinkers out there but it could end up surprising you. When I was in college we did something called a Power Hour where we would have a single shot of beer every minute for an hour. Sounds easy right? well after about 30 minutes you find that you are slipping behind and by 40 minutes you are spilling beer all over the place. By the time the hour is done you are probably trashed because it is 60 ounces of beer which is 5 regular beers. Now drinking 5 beers isn't a big feat. It is something I regularly do at the Elks Lodge, but I don't do it in 1 hour.
So this could be a fun game that depending on what words Trump decides to use that day, could result in a hilarious drunk session.
My friend suggested that we do the same thing but have to drink a shot of beer every time that Biden says "uh." I don't think anyone could survive that one though :P
Out of the two of them, Trump is the better public speaker but he too, is quite lacking in that ability as well. He uses the same phrases very frequently which I guess at least in some way indicates that he is not reading word-for-word off a teleprompter. Well anyway, lets' drink up and try to have some fun with this shit show of an election!

I am familiar with the biblical nature of my chosen name. However for me it is the name of a punk rock album by "The Dead Milkmen."
it features such wonderful songs as "Stuart", "I Walk the Thinnest Line", "Born to Love Volcanos" as well as arguably their most popular song "Punk Rock Girl." You should check it out... there is nothing at all religious about what they sing, nor is there in my choice of name.
Sounds like a fun thing to do on election night. I think there will be many wanting to drown their sorrows at a Trump victory. We'll have to wait and see if Bidenstein is actually going to stand, but Trump seems to have a commanding league nonetheless. Best drinking game ever!
I think if we implemented this that everyone would die of alcohol poisoning on election night.
There is a lot of repetition in what he says, that is for sure. He has to be aware of it because it is poked fun at on a regular basis... but his supporters love it so I guess there isn't really much reason for him to change that.
any publicity it good publicity, even if they are making fun of you I guess
