I've never heard fo this person but that does seem like a pretty good analysis of the entire thing. I just can't understand why people would so vehemently attack a film that is mostly about something that I think we can all agree with: Human trafficking is not a good thing.

And it's not like this movie apparently exceeded Hollywood standards of embellishing real events for drama. Literally every "based on a true story" film leans into action and intrigue.
