The month of April has been so brutal in several parts of the world, ranging from the Russian military airstrikes, terrorists and banditry operations in Northern Nigeria as well as the Sacramento mass shooting.
In the area of Russia's military operations in Ukraine, the Ukrainians have suffered more than three airstrikes that have caused several collateral damages within Ukraine. In Nigeria, most people are afraid of going out in the Northeastern part of Nigeria due to the activities of Boko Haram terrorists group operating in the region. The basic truth is that no place in the world is completely safe to inhabit, all we need at this period is to be careful.
It has been a recurring incidents in the United States the operation of illicit shooters who after the intake of hard drugs and narcotics can just enter the street and beginning to shoot innocent citizens. This also occurred in this April.
On April 3, 2022, some group of young men in Sacramento, California, stormed the street and fired their guns on innocent citizens who are going after their daily business.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. PDT, a mass shooting occurred in downtown Sacramento, California, United States. Six people were killed, and 12 others were injured.Source
This mass shooting have been described by most people in Sacramento, California as the worst shooting incidents that have happened in the history of Sacramento County.
The shooting occurred at around 2:00 a.m. in the area of 10th and K Street, just blocks away from the California State Capitol building and the Golden 1 Center. Police officers nearby heard the gunshots and immediately responded. The shooting caused damage to at least three buildings and three vehicles.Source
It has been a source of concern to the law enforcement agency in the county in terms of knowing the actual incident that caused the shootout. Many have contemplated whether the shooting was targeted towards a venue or party as described by the Sacramento police chief, Kathy Lester within the county.
Some suspects have been arrested in relation to the incident and are being investigated to know the actual perpetrators of the April 3 shootouts.
One of the major challenge facing the area is that there are several gang violence taking place in Sacramento, California. This form of violence have been recurring within the Sacramento County.
I believe that the government have a lot to put in place in Sacramento to reduce the level of violence with the area.
