When the Scam Backfires

Twitter.I haven't shared much since my last post. I was extremely busy with work and some other projects. I shared on post on twitter not too long ago about all #RugPullMafia #Scams I flagged for the past 30 days ... 19 #NFTRugpulls over a 30 day period for a total of approximately 409 $ETH, over $1.000.000 USD. You can see all of them on my

I knew I was pissing them off by raisin awareness but I had no idea it was that much.

Last week one my my followers brought to my attention that a specific #RugPullMafia account created a 1 $ETH Giveaway to have my profile suspended. I did not even hate the time to see this one, but I realized a lot of people actually went ahead and reported my account.

img_3879.jpgThis one was not only shared by his profile, but by all the 20+ other #RugPullMafia profiles his network owns ... so they shared it to a few million people, asking them to report me.

They did not stop there ... they even paid promoters ( I have no idea how many, because I saw a lot ) to run special giveaways and share the Scammers tweet in order to have more people reporting my account. image.png

So today, my profile was seing by thousands of people. Some of them went ahead and reported my and blocked me right away...but some other took 1 minute to read my profile. This is when it started to backfire on the Scammer. In a matter of minutes I gained over 150 new followers who started sharing my content and warning their friends and followers about the real Scammer's network.

Some of them even reached out to promoters they know to take down giveaways and it worked for the most.

If they are working so hard to shut down my account, maybe I am doing a good job raising awareness and help people get away from from their #RugPulls.

I reached out to twitter not too long ago to report one of these giveaways, and they literally told me that the scammer was not violating any twitter rules

So Twitter will not do anything to stop the #RugPullMafia ... it's almost like they are encouraging the to keep scamming people.

Im not getting paid to do this, I take my personal time to look up for these #RugPulls and their Scams. I got scammed by one of these scumbag. It did not affect me financially, but I know it can affect some other people who fall for the lies of 100X return.

And finally the craziest thing ever happened. One of the promoters decided to run a giveaway to have people following my account instead of asking them to report me.

I went from 800 to almost 2500 followers. Now the word will go out even more. The power of the #NFTCommunity should not be underestimated.

Until next time ;)

Jesus Twitter is a strange place. I don't think they really even have any rules and just make it up as they go along. Good on ya for helping to keep people safe even though I think that people that fall for this stuff are kind of asking for it. There's no such thing as free!

Its Crazy right? The literally don’t care about it.

if the scammer was directing people to a Trump merch website they would have a problem with that :P

You got that right! They decided was is acceptable or not!
