After 1.5 years of forced face-covering in public, health dictators have ended (part of) the mask mandate here in British Columbia! They will remain mandatory in healthcare settings, and most other Covid mandates and restrictions are still in place, but it's a start! The dreaded "vaccine passports" (Beast System) will be shelved in April if things continue to go well, whatever that means. But for now, we're celebrating, because tomorrow masks are not required!
I personally have not worn a mask over these 2 years of the pandemic, and neither has my wife. We have vocally advocated against mask use, spoken to numerous business owners, and protested against mask mandates regularly for more than a year now. We have lead by example, even when it was hard, even when we faced ridicule, scorn, and threats. We have remained healthy, as has our little unvaccinated toddler, despite being around hundreds of likeminded people (without any distancing whatsoever) every Saturday at the local rallies.
I have shown in numerous posts evidence from experts (mostly censored in the mainstream) proving masks do far more harm than good, in almost every possible setting. The exception may be nightclubs and operating rooms, but the jury is still out.
Even though Covid ended 2 months ago here, restrictions and mandates have become even more strict. Today is the very first sign of anything easing. Even those of us who have not complied with anything are still ready for it to end. It has been hard and stressful on literally everyone. Government involvement in our lives is never a good thing. This is a small step in the right direction!
Midnight is moments away. I wonder, will the "fully vaccinated" nightclub patrons rip off their masks at exactly 12:01? How silly this whole thing has been. The weirdest part to me is that a lot of people don't seem to realize how stupid their behaviour has been.
The tree
I've taken a photograph of the berry tree in my backyard every month since masks started getting forced on us. The tree has been through a lot in that amount of time!

Symbolic, I suppose! New life, new chances, another year ahead of us, springtime, promise, hope. Something like that.

It was very cold, barren, and bright in February, but spring began to show signs in the second half of the month.
Back in January, one evening there was a 360o sunset - pink and orange to every horizon. I got a photo of the tree with that backdrop:

A lot of sore losers downvoting my posts because of this.... guess they want to be forced to wear face diapers forever. Can't handle freedom, or those of us who practice it, I guess?
Sucks because I hope to use this money to raise my children in a fucked up world. These people are taking big chunks out of my income simply because they disagree. They have nothing to add, never comment, and usually have no content of their own. Just big accounts downvoting real content on the blockchain. Dumfuks.
Yeah that's right. He's done hundreds of dollars in damage to my income so far, and seems intend on much more. He seems very triggered by freedom. Probably a raging statist who put some of his slave paycheck into HIVE so he can bully people who don't conform to corrupt authority figures. A wannabe cop.
