It has been very strange living just a few small towns over from Lytton, here in Southern BC. I was hit by the same heat dome (which killed over 1000 people in just a week), and I've been inhaling the smoke from their town burning down for the past week. My house is literally on the exact same train track that runs through Lytton, and supposedly started the fire (via sparks from the hot tracks) that killed 2 and put their small town on the international map... and wiped them right off it at the same time.
