RE: I wasn't going to watch "Sound of Freedom" until the media attacked it

Last movie I saw in the theatre was Smurfs. Like 10 years ago? I made a point of seeing this partly because it was suppressed and mostly because it seemed like a good movie from the trailer and the critics and movie-goers. Also, they have the pay-it-forward access that allowed us to discount one ticket. This is a topic we care about, so that clinched the date!

Great movie! It is a movie, though, and not a documentary. You'll have to research where artistic license has been used and which parts are actual facts.

Operation Underground Railroad has like 6000 kids rescued so far. Maybe a sequel among those stories?

Sort:

Smurfs was suppressed? I don't recall that. Why was it suppressed? Not enough people of color (other than blue) in it? (sarcasm)

I'm quite interested in Operation Underground Railroad now. Maybe rather than going to see Sound of Freedom I'll just look into that instead.

Lol! I don't only watch suppressed movies! We just don't normally go out for movies and haven't since then.

The saying that the longest distance is between the head and the heart is true. This movie drives home some strong emotional themes. There have been other movies on this topic, but this one has stuck a chord with people.
