Putin Is Not Russian

Vladimir Putin blaming his security services for the resistance encountered by the "Russian invasion of Ukraine."

According to Kremlin security experts, she and one of the successor agencies to the KGB (the Soviet Union's State Security Committee) are being held partially responsible for Russia's "stalled" invasion of Ukraine, as Putin is furious at the inaccurate information he was given to the Kremlin as to what the British newspaper THE TIMES reported.

Exiled Russian human rights activist Vladimir Usishkin confirmed the arrests of the two men, adding that FSB officials had searched more than 20 addresses in Moscow for colleagues suspected of speaking to journalists.

Usishkin told THE TIMES newspaper that the official reason for the arrests was allegations of embezzlement, but "the real reason was unreliable, incomplete and sometimes false information about the political situation in Ukraine."

According to Andrei soldov, editor-in-chief of agentura, an investigative website that has been monitoring russian intelligence services for more than 20 years, sources within the federal security service confirmed the arrest of the two men "because the final reports from the (fsb) on the situation on the ground in the Time when the pre-invasion was just wrong, which is one of the reasons why things are so bad for Russia.”

At the height of its power, the KGB was one of the world's most feared intelligence agencies, the state weapon it used to advance Soviet interests at home and abroad, but since then the KGB has suffered a sharp decline.

The main responsibilities of the Federal Security Service (FSB), of which Putin was director from 1998 to 1999, were domestic, encompassing everything from counterterrorism to border security, and in recent years its powers have been expanded to include surveillance of former Soviet Union countries .

Soldierov says the agency has spent significant time and resources fomenting unrest among far-right groups in western Ukraine since 2014, to no avail.

Soldierov stressed that the fact that the information gathered on the spot was indeed "very good" cannot be ruled out, but the problem is that Russian presidents have difficulty telling Putin what he does not want to hear, and their information fits at.

The chief of staff of the Ukrainian army said in a statement that the Russian army's death toll on its territory during the fighting that has taken place since the start of Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine on February 24 has risen to 13,800.
