Here in the UK we are completely losing sight of reality. It seems to me that the current response to the epidemic is completely disproportionate to the scale of the actual threat. More over, for some inexplicable reason, government is seemingly doing nothing about possible preventative treatments but is instead content to wait for a vaccine that doesn't yet exist.
I certainly don't think potential preventative treatments have been properly explored and information on these measures is bizarrely lacking.
Oh I agree with you. It's a reactive approach rather than a calm proactive approach. Instead of empowering the people it's all about empowering the government. There should be a balance of both. The government and the people working together but no. I also agree we are not helpless there are things we can do for ourselves and our families.
