The giftgiver faucet has just gotten an update. I'd recently upped the amount that we were giving out from 0.003 to 0.005 HIVE which should be a great amount with the recent increase in price for HIVE. But now, users will be getting both liquid and vested hive right to their account. From now on, when a user claims the faucet they will receive 0.003 liquid HIVE and 0.002 HIVE vested right to their account.
The faucet has seen a rise in use recently to the point where I've had to refill it almost daily in the past week and the number of visitors to our site had reached a high point of over 300 unique visitors a day. Thats great news for both Hive and GiftGiver as it shows our growth over time.
Coming in the next weeks is going to be the AD system's next form. While it was already possible for users to advertise with us, this new system should make it even easier, with just a form to fill out, amount to pay(in GIFT tokens, which you can get for free for delegating HIVE to GiftGiver) and your ad will be live. I'll most likely be bring the ad system live on March 15th(though users can buy ad slots earlier than that). Expect more details on this as it gets closer.

Thanks for the faucet. I have been using it for quite some time, but just recently these new kind of captchas, where you need to write the highlighted parts of a receipt three times, are not working. I'm writing them correctly, but the system is not allowing the answer and keeps telling me to try again.
Maybe the difficulty was raised intentionally, but even then it should work when the answer is correct. Maybe I shouldn't complain about not getting stuff for free 😆 but I thought you should know that maybe the user experience of the faucet is not as easy and simple as it was before. New users facing Hive related things which are not working might deter them from using Hive at all.
By the way, I would not mind even if the whole 0.005 was powered up.

hCaptcha had always been set on the easiest difficulty so something about your particular setup might be triggering you as a bot(maybe you use a lot of captcha sites?) but I’ll create a version that uses recaptcha during the next update so you can use what works best for you. Should be out by next weekend, sorry about the difficulties.
I thought about doing 100% power up too but liquid is definitely a nice to have too so why not. Maybe I’ll add in an option on how you’d like to get it in the future(powered up getting more of course).
No worries. I just tried again and now I got the usual captcha to recognize pictures of cars. Maybe it was as you said and I was identified as a bot or some other random glitch.
That sounds good to me that users could choose to powerup the whole pot and it would be encouraged by being larger than the liquid pot.
