People’s eating habits differ, someone’s eating habits might be a NO-NO for someone else and vice versa. For me I feel eating should be fun, being overly cautious won’t make you enjoy meals.
I love visiting different restaurants just to try out various dishes, be it local or international dishes. I feel bad for people who are not able to eat whatever they want due to health issues or dieting, my grandmother is a diabetic patient and most times she frowns at the meals being given to her. She used to love eating varieties and anything, but has been placed on a serious diet which has subsequently placed a limit on her eating habit.
As a young lady with no issues in eating whatever I want, I’m still careful but not overly, because such things like overeating, consuming lots of sugar and eating any kind of junk can lead to problems later in life.

No matter how much I eat, I do not add weight, I often hear people say "I don’t eat late night meals, so I don’t add so much weight" and there is me that eats anything during the day without adding weight.
"How come you do not add weight?" "Are you on a diet?" , people often ask me, I even met some of my classmates from secondary school recently and they asked the same question.
Some persons tell me they wish they could be like me, eating anything they want without fear of adding. I sometimes wish I could add a bit of weight but I guess, it’s just how genetics work.
No matter how hard I try to increase my quantity of food, I’m not always able to because I’m a picky eater. I could have few spoons of jollof rice and be full afterwards, so because of that, I always prefer quality food over quantity.
I snack a lot and sometimes would prefer to snack if I’m hungry instead of having a full meal. So I make sure my snacks are nutrient-packed.
I really do not have a schedule for eating, I could eat anytime of the day (could even be past midnight). Several times I’ve had heavy meals at 2:00am and it doesn’t cause me constipation or make me add weight. I have an aunty who doesn’t eat once it’s 7:00pm, reason being that she could have indigestion for days, also she doesn’t eat without fruits or vegetables, it’s a must for her.
I eat whatever is available, I'm not choosy at all, I simply eat things as long as they are edible.

Like you I try to taste as many dishes as possible and despite my voracious eating, I find it difficult to add weight though recently I am trying new approaches to overcome this.
