Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. This is another day in the #inleomonthly prompt. I’m so happy to be participating in this prompt topic: best and worst experiences with transportation vehicles.
Travel is one of the things I enjoy the most, especially when I am traveling with public transport, but there are some experiences that you will encounter, and you will regret the journey. There are some public transport systems that consider the comfort of their passengers; they try their best to make sure that they are comfortable.
My worst experience with public transport was after my national youth service. Most times I wonder why some drivers are so careless about life; most of the drivers act as if life has a duplicate. I was so happy that I was leaving Akwa Ibom to go home. I had to book the vehicle two days ahead because I didn’t want to spend the money.
I came out very early so that I would arrive on time. Getting to the park, the vehicle was nothing to write home about. I asked the company if this was the car that would take us to Lagos. They said yes. I was so disappointed, and I asked them to refund me my money, but they refused. I had no other option than to follow the vehicle.
A few minutes into the journey, the car broke down. I was so angry and devastated. We had to come down from the vehicle for the driver to fix the car. After about thirty minutes, the driver was done fixing the car. We all went back into the car, and we continued the journey. Getting to Delta, the car developed another fault. This time around, the driver couldn’t fix it, and there was no mechanic around checking my time. It was already getting late. The driver had to pick a tricycle and enter the city so that he could be able to get a mechanic. At this point, I was seriously angry and hungry. The place where the vehicle spoiled was not safe at all. Finally, the car was fixed by 7:00 pm, and we continued our journey. I got home by 3:00 am. That was the worst journey I have ever had. I stopped booking cars online.
My best experience with public transport.
My best experience was traveling with God is good [GIG]. Their vehicles are so convenient; their drivers dress corporately. The company is after the comfort of their passengers and the safety of the passengers. There is no dragging; they sit with anybody. The car was so comfortable; their drivers don’t overspeed the service. Their vehicle is before hitting the road. Since I come across this company whenever I am traveling, I always make use of the company; they are good at what they do.
This is my entry on the ongoing content day 4 #februaryinleo topic: best and worst experiences with transportation vehicles.
