Adulthood is not easy; it comes with a lot of responsibilities. There are a lot of things to attend to, and at the end of the day, you will not have adequate sleep. It has really been hard for me to balance my daily tasks. I can’t remember the last time I had quality sleep and rest. There are many things that always keep me awake and deny me quality sleep.
Like I said earlier, I can’t remember the last time I had quality sleep. For two years now, I have been staying with my aunt. I have been the one doing most of the things. I have always tried to balance my daily duty so that I can have quality sleep, but it is so hard for me. My aunty has been sick for some years now. I am the one taking care of the kids. Seriously, the responsibility is too much for me. There is nothing I can do because it falls on my shoulders; I can’t overlook those kids.
I only sleep for 5 hours within 24 hours; it is not an adequate sleep. I have to attend to my niece and nephew before I will assist my sister, and also, really, some emails from the office. It is not easy for me at all. Most times I will be sleeping in the kitchen when preparing breakfast for the kids; it is not easy for me, if I may say.
It is very important for us to have a quality sleep it helps our brain to be more productivity it is very important that after a long day at work you should rest your head so that you can be able to be more productivity at work.
Weekend is always the worst for me i have to prepare dish that we will eat for the whole week so that it will not affect my work most of the weekend i sleep by 1:00am if i fail to plan my weekend very well it will affect me. Most night i will not sleep thinking about how my sister have been sick for years now. How difficult it is for me to occupy with work and my aunty family. Most of the day i will wake up feeling sleepy, weak and tried i will be struggling at work throughout that day.
I can remember late last year i want to the hospital the doctor told me all i need to a bed rest that i have not been giving myself a good sleep and it affecting me most times all our body need is sleep and rest. With that our body will be active and function more.
If i have my ways i will cut down these responsibilities that is hindering me from having a quality rest i can’t remember the last time i sleep for 8 hours seriously if is within my power i will draw back the hand of clock.
Have a quality sleep is very important most times we have headache most of them is lack of quality sleep. Sleep help us to be physical and mental okay. Sleep is one the essential things of life.
