In the heart of every man and woman is a longing for a place, a structure they raised themselves to call their home.
While I was growing up, I fantasized about the kind of house I wanted to have when I grew up a lot. Sometimes, I even go the extra mile to sketch it on a piece of paper and paint it with the best colors, if only wishes were horses, hehe.
There is always a special feeling of joy that comes with finally having the kind of house you have desired and I pray that everyone reaches that level in life.
I am still trying to build my life as a young man but honestly, I look forward to having my own house soon. There is freedom, peace, and a feeling of fulfillment attached to living in your own house.
The reason why all houses are not built alike is because of taste, just like we have favorite meals, clothes, movies, etc, everyone has the fashion in which he/she wants their house to look.
Some however end up building to that taste while others end up with something different due to lack of finance.
For me, right from childhood, I have always loved a portable apartment. I was taking a walk some months ago and I came across a small house that caught my attention. I took minutes just gazing at that house, it was a flat with three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a parlor all of portable sizes. I wished I had taken the picture.
I am not someone who loves big apartments, I want a kind of house that I can take care of. Something small that I can inspect and furnish to my taste. A flat having three rooms, a dinning, kitchen and two rest rooms, will do.
Of course, I'll have another self-contain separate from the main house for guests.
I have seen big houses, with so many rooms that people don't even live in and I wonder what for?
Give me something portable and a large portion of land in the compound for me to use for my garden and I will be satisfied.

I like your ideology and mindset sir. Having so many rooms have proven useless and necessary in most cases. The description and details you gave are nice, one could picture it. Having a portable with enough land space remaining is a wise decision. You can do a lot in that remaining portion. And the guests self contain is a nice one.
