One thing that is most valuable, one thing that we ought to give the most attention to, and one thing that we ought to prioritize above every other thing is our health.
Whatever we are capable of doing today and what we have achieved is possible because we are healthy. Take health out of the equation and nothing would be there.
But unfortunately, health is one of the things the majority of people don't take seriously.
It is funny how we regard some of our gadgets more than we regard our bodies, for those having cars, every morning before they go out, they run some checks on the car to ensure it's okay, but ask how many of them go for check monthly and you would be surprised by the number.
We beat our bodies hard, and stress them to the highest levels yet we don't mind taking some hours to visit a clinic to check if it's intact.
This is something that is for our own good, and it may not even take the whole day but a lot of us see it as a burden.
We are more concerned about what our health can bring to us than keeping it in good shape. No wonder, people collapse while working.
The body is like a machine, it also needs servicing, after using it for some time, some things need to be restored, some things need to be removed, and that can only be done when we go for a check.
I know it's not easy, I wish we had the power to check ourselves naturally, but since we can't, I don't see the big deal in going to the clinic.
Personally, I won't lie, I can't tell the last time I went for a check. I am among those having the mentality of “if you are not feeling sick, you don't need to go to the clinic.”
Most of the times I did a check was when I was sick and that's bad because I remember the last time I fell sick it was terrible. I collapsed, I had to be rushed to the hospital, and after running a series of tests, they confirmed that I had high typhoid.
What made it got to that extent? Lack of regular check. If I had been checking up, I am sure, It wouldn't have gotten to that extent.
I don't agree with people's mentality that whenever you visit the clinic, even if you are okay, the practitioners will find another thing just to get money from you.
Those practitioners, only say what their tests reveal, hardly will they say something out of a guess.
If you go for a check knowing fully that you are alright and then you are told you have a particular ailment, I think, the best thing to do is to go to another clinic for confirmation and if it's true then you should be happy that you know about it, at least that you can start treating it as soon as possible.
Some diseases don't show on time, they eat one up gradually and show up when it's probably worse. This is why regular check is important.
Although it hurts to go for a check looking healthy then discover that something is wrong with you, but it's better than being ignorant of it because it will destroy you.
It's very difficult for one to go for a check and something won't be detected. Our world is full of germs and we are not even helping matters with our poor hygiene and carelessness.
The truth is we can't finish fighting the diseases in our bodies, but we should never stop fighting.

I am positive about regular checks, it's something all of us should do often.
I will advise everyone to do their best to commit to regular checks, exercise often, and eat properly, these will help us live long.

There will always be one illness or the other to fight and we should never get tired of fighting else we lose.

That's just it my boss.. it's as if the stuffs don't finish at all
Thanks a lot
We all have our personal experience about the result of not checking our health regularly.
That comparison with how people take time to service their cars every now and then is so real, if only we'd prioritise our health more.
It's painful seriously, we valuable material things more than our well-being.
