Food is one of the most essential thing to human survival. Frankly speaking, it is one of the few things we humans can do without. Despite the significance of eating food, we all consume it for different purposes. Growing up and passing through the educational system, we were thought the nutritional merits of eating and the importance of maintaining an healthy diet. But as we grew other we realise not everything is as it seems.
It is every human wish to eat healthy meals and maintain an healthy diet, while people will go far and beyond to ensure they have quality meals, some people just consumer whatever they can lay their hands on. It is not necessarily because they don't understand the significance of an healthy meal, it is just that they can't afford it. Consistent consumption of quality meal definitely cost a fortune and not everyone can afford it. At this same time, for explanation purpose there is a difference between eating healthy and eating quality meal.
What does it mean eat quality meal? It means eating foods with good nutritional benefits and prepared in an hygienic environment, while eating healthy translate to eating quality meals based on the quantity our body needs. Which means a person can still be consuming quality food and still be causing harm to their body. As we all, too much of anything isn't good for the body.
Speaking of eating quality or quantity food, what is my eating habits like? Well before diving into the discussion, I'm definitely going to say this loud and clear, I'm not into any form of dieting. With that being said I'm sure you are already getting an idea of what my eating habits is like but before allowing your curiosity drives you any further let me quench your thirst.
Eating quality meals is something I enjoy, I mean who doesn't? But despite my likeness for quality there are just times that the situation dictates the kind of meals I consume. This factor as influenced my eating habits significantly. I have been living alone for the most part of my life, it either school, work or service. Something always warrants me to leave home and frankly speaking, I have grown fond being on my own.
As a man living on my own, my eating habits is not so majestic. I consume quality based on these three factors, availability, my budget and my cravings. When it comes availability, i just got back from a village where specific meals are not available. Which means regardless of what your eating habits is like, you have no choice but to consume the foods that are available either quality or quantity. In this can I'm no exception, I consumed whatever is near to eating healthy, which kind of sounds like eating to survive.
For my budget, like I said earlier, quality goods can be quite expensive. The moment my budget doesn't match a specific meal, there is no one way I'm emptying my account just for the sake of purchasing or preparing the meal. In cases like this I just opt for the next affordable meal.
For the last part , which is eating based on my cravings. There are times when my taste buds starts acting up, it usually happens when I have consumed a specific circle of meal repeatedly or there is a meal that I have not consumed for a while. In this case, quality or quantity does not really matter. All that matters at that moment is the meal I crave which can be any meal.
In conclusion, I'm the kind of person without a specific eating habit or pattern. I cherish eating what I feel like, taking advantage of any situation the best I can without causing damage to my finances.
