There have been quite a few houses that caught my attention recently. One that stood out was a newly built house in my area — what really drew me in were the unique designs on the walls. It gave the house a modern and creative vibe, and I definitely want to incorporate something similar when I eventually build my own home. But as nice as that house was, it still doesn’t match the picture I have in my head when I think about my dream home.
If money isn’t a problem — and I pray it won’t be — I’ve always imagined building something big enough to fit a growing family. And for that, I would need a really spacious house—probably a mansion. I want a place where everyone has their own space but still feel connected as a family.
For the color, I’d probably go with white or ash. They are both cool colours that give buildings a modern and elegant look. The exterior walls can also follow the same color scheme, to give the house a smooth and sophisticated feel. I wouldn’t want anything too flashy, just something that feels simple yet stylish.
We’d fill the house with all kinds of art — not just random decorations, but pieces that actually mean something to us. Paintings, sculptures, maybe even some cool wall murals. It wouldn’t just be for show; it would be like having our own personal gallery right inside the house, making every corner feel alive and full of personality.
The living room would be the highlight of the house. It would have cozy chairs, outstanding furnitures and a big TV , perfect for movie nights or watching football with family and friends. I’d also have games and a snooker table, so there would always be something fun to do. There would also be a big and long dining table where everyone can just eat, have fun and laughter and make memories.
And then — the gym! I’d have a fully equipped gym right inside the house. It’s important to stay fit and healthy, and having a gym at home would make it so much easier. Whether it’s lifting weights, doing cardio, or just having a space to stretch and work out, the gym would be an essential part of the house. That way, I wouldn’t have to worry about going outside to exercise—it would all be right there at home.
The outdoor area would be just as important as the house itself. I’d love to have a private park within the compound where we can plant trees, enjoy fresh air, and just relax. It would be the perfect spot for a morning walk, reading a book under the shade, or having fun with family and friends.
Of course, a dream home like this needs a swimming pool. Not too big, but like the one made of glass walls to cool off on hot days, or just sit by the water and relax. And since I plan to have kids, I’d make sure there’s a dedicated play area for them—a mini football field, a basketball court, and maybe even a small golf course. I want them to have all the space they need to play, be active, and enjoy their childhood right at home.
For security, I wouldn’t go for regular locks. Instead, entry into the house would require a pin code. Only those with access would be able to enter, making sure the house is private and secure.
At the end of the day, my dream house isn’t just about having a massive space or fancy features. It’s about creating a home where my family can feel comfortable, safe, and happy. A place where we can make memories, share laughter, and always look forward to coming back to.

Amen I for sure know it's not going to be easy but then I believe it can happen.
A mansion with everything, an ideal space for the family and weekends with friends.
