When preparing Garri it takes a lot of someone's time because it is not a day process it can take up to 2 or 3 days before it's process will finish and it can turn to what we can eat.
Meanwhile these process with someone that is use to it , it will not be that hard to the person while to others it is a very big and stressful thing to do despite the hand work of science.
Stage's to processing Garri from cassava:
Firstly the difference between garri and cassava is that
Garri is a process one , ( a process cassava)
While cassava is the one that has not been processed.
Science has really done a very good job by making all these processes of producing Garri from cassava a little bit easy though some place are still using old method..
But science has done a nice thing by providing machines both manual and otherwise that is now being used to process cassava to get garri there by making the process of processing the Garri more easier and far better than before....
When processing Garri , firstly you will go to the farm and harvest the casava first..
After harvesting the cassava you Peel it off and wash it then take it to the place where machine Will grand it ., After grinding it it will be put to another machine called the presser,
This one called presser is use to squeeze out the water in the Garri after grinding it.
After drying it in the pressing machine for like 2 to 3 days the next thing that follows is frying it.
The frying stage is the final stage In which after doing that it will now be ok for eating..
I actually think on several occasions I have heard about this cassava processing. Will love to learn more about it
