This is a very wonderful topic on electricity and it's pattern of supply.
Electricity in Nigeria is not a thing someone can hope on for at least for a complete 12hours not even 24hours without interruption.
The power electricity supply here is very poor and also it depends on the location you are.
Because some places in Nigeria don't have light most especially in some villages, while the villages that have light are having light more than the towns.
Just for example abiriba in abia state also known as small London , this is a very wonderful place, A place where you see many type of rich men very comfortable, but electricity have been a very big challenge to them.
This year will make it complete three years without electricity supply.
What is been used here is mainly solar electricity supply, and some places here solar electricity supply only works in the night and during the day time it will be off.
But the joy of this solar electricity is that, it is uninterrupted.

With solar you will have your power supply uninterrupted without any disturbance and this is why i like the solar electricity more than the main enugu electricity distribution company which is the power company we use here .
The power supply in Nigeria which is the enugu electricity distribution company (EEDC) pattern of supply depends on your location , there are some places you will go you will find out that the their pattern of electricity supply is better than others.
Another is using of prepaid in some areas, with the prepared paying and consumption of electricity is better than when you are giving an estimated bill.
In prepaid you only pay for the electricity you consumed, while in the estimated bill whether you were giving light or not is a must you pay for the bill and this bills use to be very high , for example you will see a building paying upto 150 thousand or even more than, not even that the light will stay upto 24hours without interruption.
But in prepaid meter the bill is not like that.
So with all these things stated above starting from the prepaid bill and estimated bill to the issue of not having light in some area or the light been interrupted, i prefer the solar electricity over other electricity system here in Nigeria. And i think many still like the solar electricity more than the normal electricity system here in Nigeria.
