I have quite a lot of experience with one especially on rainy days during my travel to Benin state wanting to start a life of my own I first worked at a filling station in a town in a part of Benin called Uselu that's is where I first started my journey I applied even tho it my first-time venture into Benin State, they accepted me after reviewing my application started work two days.
During my work there I was noticed as the hardworking type and was granted a promotion within one month of me being there to go to another branch to go and work that place is called Upper it is another part of a place in Benin state they called it Upper I called it a forsaken realm I will explain my reason for that.
Two weeks after being given the promotion I practiced how to be a supervisor in my current branch before traveling over there I was ready and prepared to move to my new location I already packed my bag and everything necessary for the journey here the crazy part was when motor drop me off at my destination.
The bus stop at that location is not that bad but when going into the filling station where I have to work I noticed a lot of water a lot in particular I never panicked I thought it was just normal stuff I had to do a U-turn to reach the other
side of the station I can't step my leg into the water with my new booth and don't want to get my leg stained arriving work at first day with a dirty leg.
Finally, I started working there and settled down with the accommodation given to me and this is where I noticed the natural disaster after two weeks settling down the road which was filled with water dried up after dry up rain started to fall again, this time rain fell to the extent the water level on the road was enough to kill somebody and even me am tall the water reached my Neck the Flood was so much I already have a bad perception about the place this was my reason for calling it forsaken realm cause it, not the first time water filling so much no good road even vehicle will have to pack and thank God the filling station was so high even at that water was so much high you could highly seems it a place of river.
The government has abandoned work there and there is a name the place is been called as nickname lawless area I stayed there for about 6-7 months and left I couldn't tolerate the water level anymore each time rain fell it so much that someone must not do mistake and say he or she wants to enter it just to get to their destination.
There was this particular day someone died in the water the rain was falling so much the old man was caught up in it he was moving trying to find a place to hide in till the rain settled down and the crazies aspect was you can't tell if there is a Gutter there or not like all are the same and the Gutter is so deep that's how the old man mistakenly took the place he wanted to place his leg was a loophole he fell and hit his head on a stone nobody knew the stone was there and that's how he died the old man blood turned the water into a sea of blood nobody dares enter until the water died down after 7 days some people came and carried his corpse he was been seen in somewhere far from where he died.
Houses have collapsed caused of this natural phenomenon I was even wondering why this man would build a filling station. I concluded that cause of the cheap price he bought the location eventually I had to quit working there
