I looked back and thought, if I had known, I would have just started this idea with Amiable. But then, I kept delaying the dream; I found it hard to implement the idea because deep down within me, I didn't believe that I could do that. I counted myself out from the categories of people who could explore YouTube with their video content, marketing their products, and building their accounts alongside.
I remember Amiable telling me, Nkem, let's create our real estate business page on Facebook, separately from our personal accounts over there, and keep building the account, but I postponed mine. While I kept telling her that I would, I will, she went straight and did the needful. In fact, her zeal alone is enough to influence me positively and push me to do the needful, but I procrastinated all through; I just watched her make waves with that account, hitting sales across different states in Nigeria like no man's business, while I limited myself to running ads and talking to my rich relatives to patronize my real estate business.
The truth is that you can watch procrastination slip away nice opportunities from your hands; sometimes an opportunity that shapes destinies slips away too due to procrastination. Let me just say that starting a YouTube channel and creating a business page on Facebook where I could share my insights, my challenges, and little tips I know about succeeding in real estate has been a delayed dream. Sometimes, I can't hold on to a particular thing that is holding me back from leaving my comfort zone in this digital age, stretching myself a bit, and achieving bigger potentials. But what I usually dialogue within my spirit has been, Nkem, you are not ready yet for this; you don't even have a good camera on your phone, nor do you have editing skills to work on those raw videos you take during site inspections. Again, you are shy; you aren't confident enough to face the camera for such a task. Just maybe next month, you will start. Then the next month will turn to two, to three months, and to the next year; it becomes part of my new year's resolution to date without an action.
I wouldn't say it's laziness, no! That's not the case regarding this, but maybe it's a lack of clarity and purpose. Sometimes, we face procrastination because we haven't really sat down to discover our purpose of wanting something, or better said, we are yet to become intentional about it, thereby giving room to less procrastination.
What about taking action on that dream slowly rather than saying, I will, I will, starting small and progressing gradually, not expecting perfection? These were my thoughts, and still, I am just within my shell, delaying the greater growth I could have achieved in this aspect of my life. Indeed, this particular procrastination has cost my personal growth. I have been admiring my friend amiably, but the courage to do this is still not within my reach; hopefully, someday!

Maybe you are comfortable but One thing I know is that when you get restless, you will break that band off your shoulders. You are obviously not lazy for no lazy person can succeed in this blockchain business or maybe you don’t have a passion for real estate. If the passion is there, it would propel you to do more. Just find what works for you and when you do, you would have all the zest to push knowing your why.

Wow . .yea, succeeding in the Blockchain isn't for the lazy ones 😃. I am grateful for how far I have come. Regarding this YouTube stuff and my real estate, I don't just know what's keeping me...let's just say that the zeal I had before is dropping.... maybe that's why, but yet, my colleague's success is a motivating factor, yet I don't see myself doing the needful

Loool is like you haven't seen my hand work. Back in the day when I attended meetups, I was always the one taking and editing the videos. A lot of them were uploaded way back in 2022
