IBT Survival Island - Regular Update

In these weekly updates we will bring fresh content to Hive, in the form of our game coding experiences; IBT is a developing PC game - the one to have future Crypto interactions.

Happy Easter to the Hive Community from team IBT. I hope everyone is enjoying and getting stuck into the chocs and hot cross buns. On with this weeks update.

Unleashing Magic

Moving away from the archery projectiles (and completing them) we are now moving onto magic. Currently this is a fireball being tested and we thought that it might be cool to add physical damage to it to show the true power this character can unleash... But don't think for one minute this will be easy, that is for players, the magic class will be the hardest class to master.

Once we have basic magic coding worked out, we will add may other types of magic, some for offence and others for defense or other utility. How it is we even have some magic added to the archers' arrows such as cold, fire, water and poison damage, but the thinking is they will require you to use mana potions to recharge. No potions, no recharge!

Who likes chocy for Easter? ...this isn't chocy.

Time to make something.... Easter Themed (chocolaty)...Okay, some bread, errr, some meat. Oh I'm out of meat how about some poop on the ground here?........No.......no way.........! those IBT guys just don't know when to stop; many unusual things can be crafted in this game.

Adding animations and magic

Making all the spells and animations to lead up is allot of work, so for the next few weeks we will creating new animations and working out what basic magics we will add to the magic class character.

And that's another week gone; much progress made, much more to be had.
