The illustration of this poem is a free drawing of my own, made with graphite pencil and markers. The poem was inspired by the theme of temptation treated in the drawing.
Tentación
Se acerca,
con la seguridad que le da su aliento,
encanto que brinda la música que adormece los sueños,
los pájaros callan y danzan,
miran el abrazo que envuelve,
cobija en un placer ficticio,
el calor alarga sus manos para beneficiar el momento,
el frío no es permitido,
se aleja para que los fluidos impregnen el grito,
del éxtasis o del alumbramiento.
Un cántaro baja cargado de noches y soledad
se vuelca
para que esa cascada borre el cansancio de una entrega ciega,
como ojos que cruzan el laberinto de las sombras,
aparece la mórbida tentación en un instante de lujuria.
Las semillas van en estampida para abrirse a la vida,
embrión que consolida la existencia,
ciclo que se repite como usufructo del tiempo.
Temptation
He approaches,
with the assurance of his breath,
charm that brings the music that lulls dreams to sleep,
the birds are silent and dance,
they look at the embrace that envelops,
shelters in a fictitious pleasure,
warmth stretches out its hands to benefit the moment,
the cold is not allowed,
it moves away so that the fluids permeate the cry,
of ecstasy or of childbirth.
A pitcher descends laden with nights and solitude
it overturns
so that this cascade erases the weariness of a blind surrender,
like eyes that cross the labyrinth of shadows,
morbid temptation appears in an instant of lust.
The seeds stampede to open up to life,
the embryo that consolidates existence,
a cycle that repeats itself as a usufruct of time.
