Greetings, friends of Hive. Back in this community, I hadn't posted for a while, but "every cloud has a silver lining," a South American saying that only tries to communicate that sometimes not-so-good things can be a precursor to a great moment, so we are here to continue enjoying the wonder of urban art and its many displays to brighten up the day. So let's go!
Jaime Garzón was an important public figure in the political and communication sphere of Colombia, a man of humble origins who decides to think that Colombia can be better, that society can change, and that it does not have to be condemned for the history of drug trafficking, really a character that I personally find attractive and who is worth remembering, for interested people who want to know a little more about this social figure, I leave you a link to a brief biography of his life, let us remember that the origins of urban art were to protest against what was considered unjust, it is a manifestation to pay attention to what can be really important, so that is why I took it as a reference in this work, because it is a significant image for thousands of Colombians.

This multicoloured and, above all, multi-historical house is certainly hard not to appreciate; its size and colours fill you with curiosity. The first time I saw it I thought it was a cultural centre or, certainly, something associated with art, but it is not; it is a family house, whose external walls were used to cover it with colours and characters, ordinary and extraordinary, so I set myself the task of taking as many photos as possible to show you. Here I have material for many posts, but I think it is worth showing everything in its entirety, as it is splendid. I took the figure of Jaime Garzón because I think he represents that house very well, so you can have any portrait as your favourite: animals, figures of important people, faces of ordinary people, so I think there is something for everyone.
Not only the significance of the house, due to its size and its obvious colour, attracts me to the technique used; despite the almost careless strokes, all the figures maintain their order and meaning, giving it character and transmitting importance and human warmth; it also projects a great abstract meaning despite the figures being well explained; if this house were a cultural house, ironically it would not be so well displayed.
I am very pleased to be back in this community that I particularly love, it makes me feel comfortable and makes my imagination fly to write a little and share with you. Medellin is a city where on every corner there are wonderful works to show; I feel that I am so small and sometimes I am overwhelmed by the work, because I want to show you so much.
