My Browsers into the other world

in Minimalism4 days ago

While I may be calm, quiet and reserved, I have many things on-going on the inside. In fact, I do feel the world on the inside is deeper, higher and greater. We mostly feel restricted on the outside most times as a result of various responsibilities and obligations either to our employees, guardians, mentors, family, friends and associates. Most especially as a minimalist, we are totally focused and give the best concentration to whatever we do at a particular time. We delight not in wasting time nor any resources. Since, we make judious use of something at particular time, many do not have the opportunity to know what we have on the inside world. Minimalists are not workaholic as people may think but we are creative minds with simple lifestyle.
Over time, minimalism has been a lifestyle that saves me from unnecessary stress, depression or frustration. In fact as a minimalist, time is so precious to me to waste on negative vibes. Instead, I explore the more potentials I have on the inside through, counseling, drawing and singing. These practices are my browsers into the other world. Many at times, I get amazed by the words of wisdom that come out of my mouth when I engage people. I also feel relieved whenever I'm able to release out of the abundance within me. This always points me to the talents within and the urge to stir them up. Aside, my time and resource management things, I do feel the urge to speak and counsel the younger ones especially. I do visit various local high schools around my environment at intervals to enlighten them on career path.

I also do speak to every girl child around and make them feel the strength they have within. Counselling the teenagers against social vices and seeing the positive impact it has on them confirms the fact that there's lot within to unleash. Seeing my counsel give them succor and clear their doubt and confusion to a great extent, witnessing their growth and success also get me relieved.
Drawing is another practice, I engage in to explore the world inside.

I express my emotion, communicate ideas and have some personal reflections through drawing. I imagine beautiful things and skillfully sketch it out.

Most times, I look at what I draw and have that sense of purpose. Singing is also something that takes me from the usual world to explore the riches within. I choose lyrics that address my feelings at a particular time and sing it passionately. Many people around me wonder why I close my eyes while singing. It has become an involuntary action. That's how powerful and far my singing practice take me, in fact, beyond the physical. Singing deeply connect me to the greatness inside and anytime I engage in it, I do feel there are still realms of glory, the world has not seen. Sometimes, I engage other like-minded people to sing harmoniously.

My brothers have been of great help in this aspect, though they are young, they skillfully play the piano and sing along with me, even in our room. We have no studio yet, but as minimalists we know how to make do with what we have. We sing the various parts (Alto, soprano and tenor) sonorously and get refreshed. All these practices have been so helpful in my journey.
