RE: Hive Income Tokens: A Quick Comparison

I respect your opinion, but someone had to take the spot.

Did you read the whole post? I tried to be fair and kind... I still like and hold SPI, but its 2.5% return and low liquidity were the main reasons for my decision. It's nothing personal.

Thank you very much for commenting though, @stayoutoftherz... I appreciate any type of engagement! 🙏

Annual return is worthless if the token drops in price over time, as many of those investment tokens do. You have to consider price development over time as well.

I did factor in price performance as one of the metrics. Here is SPI over the last quarter or so...

Granted, a few of its counterparts have lost more value than SPI, especially LGN and BRO, but the return and liquidity have to factor in somehow.

Here is DAB's performance over the same period, as a comparison...

These things are always subjective, so the results won't please everyone. I like that you're a supporter of the SPinvest project... I am too! :)

Sorry, but a quarter is not enough. Why not use the price when the token was issued?

Hive Engine only goes back a quarter... do you know how to get charts that show all-time price performance? That would be helpful.

I've added some information in this comment. At the last report, SPI was 5x HIVE value and 20x USD value (for what it's worth as a comparison)! since the original sale six years ago. I've also added some information about liquidity.

@ssuk / @silverstackeruk, the SPI operator, has been providing weekly reports since the beginning of the Fund, you can always ask for more information.

Amazing! I should try to get this level of detail about all the tokens on the list... but every little bit helps.

I responded above as well. Much appreciated. Cheers!

There's a lot to research 😁
