But I'm not a christian. The words soothe me.
For the same reason, Churches sooth me. I like to sit in them, even though I don't "believe." I enjoy cemeteries for a similar reason. Soothing. Relaxing.
I don't purport to know The Truth, either, and I get a little frattled by people who claim they do. Ultimately, I think there is a little Truth in everything; we as people choose to focus on one aspect of it or another, and then down play what doesn't fit in our world view. It's very confining, those world views. Keeps us from grown, learning, and appreciating.
Maybe we think too much. Worry too much. Try to explain too much. Dogs don't. They just want to be your friend, eat, and sleep.
Maybe Dogs are the Truth.
Huh?! Ditto :)
I still visit both of those places.
I think when groups of people get together with the same intention there is a super powerful energy created. And I reckon that energy "lives" in those places if they are revisited. Maybe even permanently. Who knows?
Who does? Impossible. Surely? 👀
I'm busy listening to "The Order of Time" - read byBenedict Cumberbatch
:D
Yeah... we don't really know as much as we'd like to believe we do ;)
Dogs are more in truth than a lot of us, I think. Because they're just "in" it. Dogs rule!!!
