I'm still grappling with the value offer. It costs $100 to join. Has anyone earned that back in royalties from book sales?
Here's an article on social tokens in the book publishing space, and it mentions PageDAO. Thought you might be interested?

That's fair. The DAO is still pretty young and (as many are) under resourced. The building of the NFTBook Minter is quite tangible though—I've created and sold a few NFTBooks with it already!
It costs 100 $PAGE to join! $PAGE was trading at something like $0.015 USD last I checked :)
Thank you for the link! Not sure if PageDAO has seen this yet, it is pretty recent ~ cc @epicdylanblog
Okay, I misread that. Thanks for the clarification.
Yeah, I tried posting it in the Discord channel the day it was published, but the setting disallows external links so it wasn't approved. Glad I found you because I'd like you guys to see it.
I've been thinking about the PageDAO offer for a while now, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet, mainly because I don't know what I'd publish. I have many things I could publish. The question is, what should I publish? And I just don't know yet.
Fair enough re: publishing.
Once you have access to the Minter (50 MATIC), publishing only costs gas IIRC (and that's like, pennies worth of MATIC). So really, you can publish whatever! In these early early days of web3 pub, I feel like the action of trying stuff has as much or value as publishing the "right" stuff. YMMV :)
I don't disagree with that, but what's very important to me is the value of my time. I'm already stretched, so I have to think really hard about how I invest my time. I do like to experiment. I do a lot of that, but I also have to guard my time and where I spend it. I tip my hat to you guys who are trying new things. That is commendable.
