There is a similar principle from Wayne Dwyer who puts it a slightly different way. He suggests giving up your personal history to be able to better move forward.

With both these suggestions, I wonder if they could also be applied by a person who is the wrongdoer? The premise of self help always seems to be that person being helped to help themselves has been wronged, or has had an unfair life.

How does someone who has done something wrong move forward? How can they atone their dastardly deeds? Should they be allowed to? or be made to face their sins for eternity?

Just a thought and congratulations on completing such a mammoth task. Inspiring.
