Silent woods.

A morning walk in the woods, northern Norway.

We waked up early in the morning and took a walk/exercise in the woods. It was low clouds and no wind, and almost complete silence. From time to time we could hear some birds signing from the trees. Halfway up to the viewpoint as was the goal for the walk we could hear the sound from a Cuckoo. I heard the Cuckoo for the first time earlier this week. When the Cuckoo sing I always get a feeling of summer.

In norhtern Norway the spring is short. The weather almost shift from spring to green summer within a couple of days.

Up in the mountain there is still lots of snow. From around 150 meters above the sea we met the snow. If we get stable temperature above 10 degrees celsius during the day and night, the snow hopefully melt fast.

6 kilometers done, 11 o´clock and the whole day ahead of us. The not so funny part is some of day have to be used to cleaning the house.

Have a great weekend.

Snow still lingers about! It’s June!
Nice views of the far away mountains and sea. Nero always has a good time!

Amazing landscapes. For some reason it reminded me of the Ronja Røverdatter film!
Hoping for a great summer to come :-)

😊 I cross my fingers for some nice days in the summer🌞

Norway is a beautiful place. in Indonesia spring lasts very long. and the rainy season lasts only about 3 months. When I see snow in your picture, it makes me want to hold it. I always wanted to see snow directly. Unfortunately in Indonesia there is no winter.
