Dovestone Reservoir

I thought I'd take some time out to share about a walk I went on with my partner: @letothehobbit a few weeks back.

Dovestone is located in West Yorkshire, and of course, is located in the middle of nowhere, like all the best spots over here. 😂 Even on a cloudy or even a rainy day, Dovestone is truly a site to behold. Me and Monika had both been stuck in the house for a little while and just wanted to get out for a little bit really.

We sat above the reservoir on some rocks for a little while, before eventually wondering down to the actual reservoir itself. We didn't walk round the whole reservoir, but once we flipped round to the other side, we managed to find a path that took us up on the other side of the reservoir. Admittedly, we didn't follow this path all the way to the top, but even from where we were the view was amazing.

It was really nice to back into the great outdoors again. For me, this was maybe my 10000th visit but it was actually Monika's first time. I regret that I didn't more pictures to share, but I will make a mental note to take more next time. We'll probably even venture back to Dovestone again at some point, and hopefully be able to share some views of the actual reservoir.
