Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
I cannot believe I have been skipping this series for a whole month again. Sorry about that! Hosting it regularly is much harder than I thought. Obviously, videos are not my thing (or least not as much as photos) but I still want to share some of the cool ones that I got to capture on my travels.
Today, I am finally coming with another contribution to the series and I think you will enjoy it ;) The videos below were taken on the top of the Monserrate Hill, a huge mountain towering above the Colombian capital of Bogota. The hill rises to an impressive height of 3,152 m (10,341 ft) above the sea level, offering some truly spectacular views of the city.
As you can see, the weather was quite cloudy when we were on the top but fortunately, there was no fog that day so the visibility was still relatively good and we could enjoy all those fascinating views of Bogota, the bustling Latin American metropolis that is home to 7.5 million people. What you can see in these videos is actually just a part of the city ;)
I hope you enjoyed the videos. Visiting the Monserrate Hill was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Bogota. Our AirBnb apartment was actually in the Bacata Tower, the tallest skyscraper in the city and we could see the Monserrate Hill from our balcony. It´s just a short walk from the tower to the lower station of the cable car that transport people to the top of the hill. It´s also possible to hike up there but we were told it was not recommended for safety reasons.
Thanks for your attention and I will see you in the next episode of my Video Wednesday series :)
Hi mate. Yes, I have noticed that you have skipped the series. I like Latin America. Hope to visit one day.
You are an observant reader :) I will try to come up with a video post at least once every other week. Thanks for checking it out!
It is normal. We have other things to do in real life ;)
