We are in Betty's Bay, South Africa. This is on the South Coast section of Western Province where the sun rises are not coming over the hills and setting in the sea as I am used to on the West Coast, but rather side to side.
Here, the warmer Indian Ocean is to our south while the mountains are to the north.
This morning myself and the boys went out to bay a few things from the shops that we needed at our little holiday rental home.
But then we took a detour to find the beach along the way! After travelling down some dirt roads we got to a bathway that went left and right but we could not see a clear way to the sea when suddenly a tiny openking in a hedge revealed to be a path through the vegitation.
Following this path a little while all of a sudden deposits you onto a rocky shore. There were some people already fishing or climbing the rocks.
Matthew found a crab of some sort in a big shell. Not too sure if it was a hermit crab because the shell is far too big for it.
Anyway, pictures follow on below! Enjoy!
Looks so peaceful. Hope you guys had an amazing time as a family and are well rested.
Yeah... quite well rested... now back at home with all of those house plants and jobs! 😱😱😱😂😂😂😂
