Today in a Wednesday Walk, I bring you again one of my favorite flowers such as orchids, I still have more to publish in my photo archives, I do not bring you a specific color as I did in past publications, today I bring you a variety of colors, although some have a slight resemblance if you detail them well you will realize that they are not the same.
Hoy en un Paseo del miércoles, les traigo nuevamente una de mis flores favoritas como los son las orquídeas aún me quedan en mis archivos de fotos otras más para publicar, no les traigo un color en específico como lo hice en las publicaciones pasadas, hoy traigo una variedad de colores, aunque algunas tiene un pequeño parecido si las detallan bien se darán cuenta de que no son iguales.
If you detail very well the photo of this orchid you will notice three bulbs, well from those three bulbs will come out three new orchids, this type of orchid is one that blooms on very long stems, in nature simply leave the stem and the flowers are as if they were hanging, however, my sister put a small tube that I could see in this way fixed the stem tied very delicately so as not to damage the stem of the orchid and can continue to grow without falling.
Si detallan muy bien la foto de esta orquídea podrán notar tres bulbos, bueno de esos tres bulbos saldrán tres orquídeas nuevas, este tipo de orquídea es de una que para florecer lo hace en unos tallos muy largos, en la naturaleza simplemente salen los tallo y las flores quedan como si estuvieran guindando, sin embargo, mi hermana le coloco un pequeño tubo que pude ver de esta manera fija el tallo amarrado de forma muy delicada para no dañar la el tallo de la orquídea y puede seguir creciendo sin caerse.
This beautiful orchid is neither white nor purple. My sister told me that it's a cross between a white orchid and a purple one. When I was placing the photo, my daughter asked me why it was that color. She was just expecting the answer I had just mentioned: that it's a cross between two orchids of different colors, one white and one purple. To which she responded, "Okay, so the dominant flower was the white one, and the recessive gene was from the purple flower." Immediately I asked her, "And how do you know that?" She replied that she is studying Mendel's laws and that she really likes that topic.
Esta hermosa orquídea que no es blanca ni morada. Mi hermana me comentó que es un cruce entre una orquídea blanca y una que es morada. Cuando estaba colocando la foto, mi hija me preguntó por qué era de ese color. Ella solo estaba esperando la respuesta que acabo de mencionar: que es un cruce entre dos orquídeas de diferentes colores, una blanca y una morada. A lo que ella respondió: "Okay, entonces la flor dominante fue la blanca, y el gen recesivo fue el de la flor morada". De inmediato le pregunté: "¿Y eso cómo lo sabes?". Ella respondió que está estudiando las leyes de Mendel y que le gustó mucho ese tema.

Aquí les presento otra de las muchas orquídeas hermosas que tiene mi hermana. Aunque esta es morada, no es la misma especie que utilizó mi hermana para hacer el cruce de la flor anterior. Si se dan cuenta, esta vez solo he publicado 4 fotos de orquídeas, ya que cada vez en mi banco de fotos de orquídeas me quedan menos que presentarles. Así que reduje la cantidad. Necesito viajar a Upata para poder actualizar mi banco de fotos.
