Ex Nihilo .. My favorite part of this awesome walk through. How big would you say this is? Quite the sculpture isn't it? I could stare at it for a good while due to all of those details. Before embarking on a challenging project such as that, I would ask myself, "Brad, Where shall I start?".. I guess I would start from nothing! hehe. Impressive. Love stained glass in old churches. How cool would it have been to be involved with a project like that. Thanks for the tour! Now I don't have to go for myself.. not.. haha. See ya around! :-)

It is two stories tall and I should have posted a picture of the front. It is over 20 feet wide and is just such an incredible piece. They had it commissioned and it made it's debut in 1982, so a fairly new piece by artwork standards. I have found myself doing that exact thing, staring at it, so an emotionally charged piece to me.
Stained glass is gorgeous, sometimes so gorgeous, it looks fake. They are still rebuilding (and paying for it, brick by brick) from the earthquake we had over four years ago, rocking the Cathedral. It was made stable over a few months' time and is still in the process of renovating the places that need it.
I personally am all thumbs when it comes to artwork, although, I am a huge admirer of it. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello, leaving those words behind!
Have a great day!
