RE: Rest in Peace

Oh Denise, I am so sorry for this day and all of the emotional turmoil it has brought upon you and your family. I will be thinking of you and yours and praying for all of you, as you had done for me. I hope that wind through Arlington blows strong. I hope it blows the pain far from your heart, but brings back the warmth and comfort of his presence, that I know has a large space there.

I thank your brother for his service to our fine country and thank all of those who have fallen; For it is them, at the front lines and ready, to protect our freedoms and rights. Thank you. May you rest in piece 😢

“It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.”
