I like hiking, too. My fair weather (summer) motorcycle boots are also decent hiking boots so I can check stuff out. My foul weather boots are hard to walk in but keep my feeties warm and dry.
I've done a little para sailing on the Columbia River-A friend has a rig and a boat to pull it with. Pretty exciting stuff....

I used to have an amazing boots and I used my boots all the time, like all the time and were still good but I left them at my mother's house 2 years ago and I know she started using my boots too hahaha!!
Oh, parasailing here it's very far away! mostly on the islands they do these activities, last year I had planned a trip but it was ruined!! But it's on my list !!
Well, at least my mother never stole my boots :) I have a pair of hikers that I wear around here that are pretty darn comfy too.
