RE: Marine Protected Areas on our doorstep - The Atlantic Seaboard of the Cape

LOVE this post! I always get confused, cause when you say "Cape" I think of MY cape:

that's me, oout on the tip.
But you mean, your Cape:

BTW, see the image of a whale feeding on the Sign, you posted?
I took this shot 2 summers ago:

Most of where I live is a Marine Sanctuary as well.

Wow! That’s so cool! And what a brilliant photo!!! Yes we love our Cape at the tip of Africa and all it’s beautiful wildlife. So glad you enjoyed the post.

then, there's this little beauty, who played while I was driving our little boat!

Oh my gosh!!! You are very spoilt! That’s incredible. We saw a little pod of dusky dolphins when I was out sailing a couple months back but I didn’t get to take any photos. It’s tricky when you’re at the helm.

yep, very tricky. imagine me, at the helm of a 18ft (6 meter) boat, balancing my 600mm lens. but I lucked out. I pout the boat in a big circle, and the pod of dolphin swam around us for 45 minutes, playing in our wake, etc

Incredible!!!

PS. Where’s your Cape exactly???

About 4 hours north of NYC, off the coast of Boston MA, in the US.

ooops, just noticed... the S by itself is the Atlantic Ocean

About 12,400 KM, or 7700 miles!

What a coincidence!! My daughter is planning to start au pairing in Boston in January hopefully. If I ever make it to that side of the world I’ll look you up for a boat trip!
