My #thoughtfuldailypost on holiday:
While we are enjoying our holiday the two oldest are at home taking care of the house wn caring for the dogs. Today is the birthday of CJ so the oldest two called to congratulate.
This is a transcript from the call:
Congrats on your 10thbirthday and we love ya.
CJ : thank you and i love my v-bucks for Fortnite and i got a football shirt with number 10, we are having breakfast now and the waitress sang with mum and dad for me! Isn’t that cool !!!
R&I: Thats so cool ! And did you have fun in Europapark ?
CJ: Yes that was ubercool. so you want to talk to mum now?
R&I: yes please.
ME: goodmorning guys, how is life at home?
R&I: well its hot, and I have to study, metoo and my clothes are dirty and I have a party.
ME: well, I left instructions on the washer and dryer how to use it. didn’t you try?
R&I: well not yet, I was busy and he has more clothes he can can wear right?
ME: But if he wants to wear that special shirt, why not help him?
R&I: I was busy
ME: with Netflix or your phone I bet??
R&I: MUMMMMMM!!!!
ME: well am I right? and are the dogs still alive and the house still standing ??
R&I: Yes mum, they are still alive but they need a walk 3 rimes a day! and Joe jumped in the pond and I had to wash him because the smell was awfull. And also you remember that vase with the blue and white?
ME: That one from dads mum?
R&I: yes the blue and white one?
ME: That one in the hall on the side table?
R&I: YES that one, thats broken....
ME: ( silently screaming )
R&I : mum? Are you still here?
ME: Yes do I want to know how it got broken,
R&I: ehhhhhh Do you want the party details?
ME: Well yes but not now, it might ruin my holiday.......
I ended the conversation with chit chat and hang up.
A #thoughtfuldailypost alright just a bit different. Great that the kids watch the house I am here in Switzerland thinking of all the rave parties in our lovely cleaned home and the dogs being neglected. Like hubby said let it go, let it goooo like the song from Elsa in Frozen so that is what I am trying THOUGHTFUL and DAILY from now on till we are home !

I grew up being raised by grandparents who were very poor in health, but not love. Being raised by women... most notably a Mom who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 20...
No father... we had 2 new homes, 2 new cars, and NEVER went without...
