RE: Self Reflection & the Scarab

@jaynie, I could possibly write an entire book on this state of being; this state of coming home to ourselves; actually it is an allowing ourselves to be ourselves.

Who do you live for? And no, you don't get to say "Jude..." because that's not the point in this particular context.

Time is our friend in this equation. I feel that time — actually, the lack of — is often responsible for leading us into these "dark night of the soul" places because we live in a go-go-go world where we are rarely afforded the luxury of time to evaluate and and make the authentic choices that serve our best needs... so the default setting becomes that of listening to the most noise outside voices clamoring for our attentions... and if you're empathic and have "people pleasing" tendencies to start with...?

Time is what we need, to choose wisely. Time to simply sit inside our daydreaming where we can pay attention to the images that come up and decipher from them what our direction is really supposed to be. What makes you happy?

No, you're definitely not alone! But at the same time, the idea that getting your shit together can be extremely lonely also holds a fundamental truth... one of my spiritual Teacher of many moons ago once pointed out that as we evolve and grow, the number of people in our environment who rise to our level gets smaller and smaller. That's not arrogance and self-importance; that's simply stating what happens as we approach "mastery" of ANYthing... our authentic peer group shrinks and shrinks. Our old "friends" become somehow... irrelevant, because they are still "back there."

Our tribe becomes smaller, and we become more discerning as to whom we share our energy with. Treasure those with whom you truly resonate!

Dreams are powerful messengers...

This spoke so strongly to me. Well, it all did.

Thank you.
