This seems like a good use of time and certainly something that will keep the old noggin ticking over.
My first computer was an Amiga 500, and nope I couldn't afford the 500Kb RAM upgrade. Lol. I didn't do much with it to be honest as computers weren't that interesting to me then, or really now for that matter.
I've not heard of a Raspberry Pi to be honest, but twiddling around with computers is sure likely to get you through those cold winter days.
