The mornings are different out here in the sticks. Slower, and somehow more meaningful. Perhaps it is the silence or maybe it is just that the air if filled with a calmer energy in general.
This is how I feel when I'm in the wilderness...Calm energy, meaningful moments and a slower world, or a slower passage through the world I should say...I seem to slow down and let the world catch me up.
Have you ever climbed a mountain, applying effort and exertion to the task and then angled your legs off a cliff face, warm sun on your face? I have...It's amazing. On one occasion I was joined up there by an eagle catching thermals and wheeling around whilst looking for prey. I'll forever remember that moment, the feeling of it; It is one of my good moments as you put it. One of the very best.
The good moments are always there, because they can be anything really.
Even a kind word from a stranger, or loved friend. There's no rules...Good moments are everywhere, we just nee to see them. It's up to us...To quote you.
Happy Thursday Jaynie, make it a good one. You have the mindset so it's doubtful I need to prompt you.
You watered that olive grove yet? Lol. No splashing.
I can relate to the experience you outlined, but I don't think I will be dangling my legs off any cliff haha - I have a serious fear of heights, so probably wouldn't go anywhere NEAR the edge.... sad to say.
Olive grove on agenda tomorrow :)
Belated response, so wishing you a great weekend ahead instead :)
That's the good thing about these moments, they can be found anywhere, one just has to be open to them.
Have a good weekend too Jaynie...Enjoy the olive grove watering.
Thank you - you too! And I will :)
