A popular Spanish saying goes: "Vísteme despacio que tengo prisa", alluding to the fact that no matter how much of a hurry you are in, there are things that must be done slowly, if we want them well done with precise details. Similarly, many personal development books tell us that for the body to function properly there are processes that must be done slowly, such as food that should be chewed slowly, the process of going to the bathroom should be slow, and even to understand a reading should be done slowly. It is not about doing everything slowly but with wisdom to know when to take the time to do things well and better.
