I will send you proudly South African very delicious snacks, called Biltong (dried meat) and droe wors (dried sausage)
And then a Vuvuzela, an instrument you can blow on during sports events. Also claimed to be proudly South African. It makes one helluva noise. You can blow it during any celebrations.
Traditionally made and inspired from a kudu horn, the vuvuzela was used to summon distant villagers to attend community gatherings.[5][dubious – discuss] The vuvuzela is commonly used at football matches in South Africa,[6] and it has become a symbol of South African football as the stadiums are filled with its sound.[5] The intensity of the sound caught the attention of the global football community during the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in anticipation of South Africa hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[5]

Have a great weekend!@galenkp thank you for the weekend engagement.
We'd call that pepperoni stick (the sausage) and jerky. And I'm salivating like Pavlov's dog just thinking about them! My brothers and I have all made (or do make) both.
I hate the horn. Seems like every ball game I go to there is some kid with one of those right behind me. Maybe I'm just cursed.
So every culture has their own way of making it and I am sure its own unique taste.
I am sorry you hate the Vuvuzela, lol you are not cursed. 😂
I'm a huge fan of biltong so I'll gladly accept your hypothetical gift! I haven't tried droe wors but have had some delicious encounters with boerewors which ended badly for the boerewors but well for my taste buds!
The vuvuzela will also come in very useful...You see, sometimes I have the urge to wake up my neighbours at 5am when I go for a walk some mornings...I can never seem to make enough noise. With a vuvuzela I think my neighbours will really come to value the 5am wake up call and thank me for alerting them that the day has started.

I thought with so many South Africans in Australia, that you might know Biltong and and droëwors, and now I hear also boerewors. Glad you enjoy that.
Hahaha, it's so funny that you will use it for the neighbours. I can picture this .....neighbours: wtf????? kill that terrible noise!!!, running to the window. It's that crazyyyy guy next door!!!!! 😂🤣😂
I have some SA friends so maybe I should get them to bring their vuvuzela's over and help wake up my neighbours? Lol.
Hehehe, I feel sorry for the neighbours.
Don't be sorry for them...I'm doing them a favour, helping them wake up and seize the day! 😂
👍🙂
