Ola Peeps!
It sure has been an exciting 24 hours hasn’t it! I thought I would wait a little bit before making this post to allow time for things on the new chain to settle down a bit. I also needed some extra time to get my ducks in a row with the way forward for my Power House Creatives community.
I have chewed on it all for quite some time actually, as there were many aspects which I needed to take into consideration… personal, blockchain and community related - but I got there eventually, lol… so here it is.
Hive VS Steem or both…
I will keep this brief. From a moral standpoint and after everything that Justin Sun has done in the last month, I would NEVER feel right about supporting absolutely ANYTHING that is spearheaded by him or so much as has his name attached to it – so, my personal profile (@jaynie) and ANY community or curation initiatives that I have launched over the last few years (@theluvbug, @steemitbloggers aka PHC) will be moving over to Hive… simple as that. I am not a “sit on the fence” kind of person and moving to Hive is what I feel is the right thing to do.

I have wanted to make some dramatic changes to our community on discord for some time now and this “new beginning” seemed like the perfect time to do it. Yes, we are moving over to Hive but we have also moved house on Discord. With our discord move I have also decided to open our doors to all Hive members – so feel free to join us HERE
What an exciting road ahead!

I was about to start on Steemit but thankfully, I was able to come by a Youtube video explaining what happened there. Now I will shift all my efforts here in Hive. Looking forward to interacting with the community and Hive :)

I thought I could support both and 'gradually' withdraw from Steem until Thursday when the steemitinc stake started downvoting and pulling posts. So here I am, all of me, for better or worse.

We are, indeed. I wanted to support people back there to the last and I hit Power Down after the Hive release. So...patience...and good luck.
it may be sooner since Justin says he wanna reduce power downs to 24hours ? =D

Thanks for the invite. I agree, Justin has made Steem unusable and it's Centralized future is pretty much ensured with such a questionable character controlling it with his stake.

Well, we are already here, I have also thought about gradually withdrawing from steemit But we will see what happens.

At least all of us caring for the community are still together.. Actually now steem can not hurt us in a simgle tiny way, but made us all stronger 😉

I'm fully committed to HIVE, and my steem posting days are over. I refuse to allow the dictator over there even the possibility that he may benefit somehow from my new content being there, in whatever form.
At this point, as far as steem goes, I'm interested only in watching the drama play out as the dictator's problems mount. It should be an entertaining show.

I am here, because I no longer want to be there.
I saw more bits and pieces implemented by the little dick-tater today; decided to "ghost out" my profile headers in a show of disgust.
I'm fully behind PHC being here on Hive, but of course I'll be waiting for the 13 obligatory weeks, like everyone else. Unless, of course, Mr. Sun decides to cut the power down period to three days, as he was so hot to trot to do...
Beginnings are always rare and difficult on many occasions. When we go hand in hand with people as wonderful and special as you and all the people who make up PHC, one feels that it will not be so complicated. Thank you for your words, your effort and that passion you put into everything you do day by day for the benefit of your people (which I include myself in). A big hug and all my love to you, beautiful @jaynie. Around here continues to have my full support.

Good to see that you packed your "family " up and moved to HIVE. I have never been one for "self promotion " of posts but I think you , especially you. could appreciate my latest one. If you have a few minutes extra in your busy day take a look. I won't link here but I'm sure can locate it.

REally glad you have moved to HIVE, @jaynie. I felt the same - do or die, all or nothing, no fence sitting. We are here. We are Hivians.
It's amazing how thoroughly one's perspective can change in a few weeks! I am still a bit on the fence, only because I've had my heart in Steem for so very long and there are still people there I care about. But also Actifit posts to both Steem and Hive. All my creative posts and contest entries will be here, but my daily Actifit post will be here and there. One day, I may cut the cord.
I think you're right and at the same time you're keeping to your principles; that can never be wrong. I'd been lazy to try to understand what was going on, so this Hive phenomenom was a surprise for me, a nice one fortunately. No doubt, the PHC is going to be huge :)
