A DAYMARE
The agony of anguish attacks
the actively happy atmosphere.
It dawned on me
that we've been attacked by agony
garnished in life's irony.
So sick and tired
like unfair dice
angrily tossed on the floor tiles.
And as time passes by
sorrow seems to be in sight.
My heart is filled with gas
a Kindle of light will set it ablaze
Sadness bruises my desire
its skin looks so pale.
Yet my heart hmms this solemn stanzas.
Still on this dreadful lane
I fall my knees to pray
alas, I see happiness in a distance
beaming and accumulating in its abundance.
I really like your poetry! The images are fantastic: hearts full of gas that could ignite, drowning days. I've upvoted this one so that my upvote would be a bit more than dust. They're all really good though.
Thanks a lot for the kind gesture, I really appreciate you taking out time to review my work
