DIY Face shield for healthcare workers

klu48i.png

So I had this idea for a diy face shield for healthcare workers, since those things are in such short supply.
All they are, consists of a transparent plastic shield covering your face so droplets of infection can't reach their faces from coughing etc.
So, my idea called for a THREE LITER bottle. Not having access to one, I found an empty TWO liter.

I cut off the top ad bottom, cut out the part that still had adhesive from the label

Then using a desk top stapler (just two for this preliminary tryout) I attached it to a ball cap, to be worn backwards.

And there you are.

Wow...
This is really creative and an act of improvise in display.

Good Morning and Thank you @godact, my whole idea was to make something out of a reusable, or in this case the discarded waste that would have probably not been recycled product, essentially making it for nothing.
Of course this was a little rushed, a little sloppy, but the idea is out there now.

Hello
I'm relatively new to Hive platform.
Please can you kindly tell me how you acquired this much followers.
I have just one.

Secondly how can i earn more hive power. I bought this ones i have.

Well you have two now @godact
Many if not all my followers were already following me when steemit split, so they were here when I started posting.
If you had a Steemit account, your Steem Power should have come over in the the snapshot.
I am generally frugal with my votes, and my hive power.
Post only good, quality ORIGINAL content, find your niche, and the followers will come, your hive power will increase

Thanks alot. I don't have steemit account, but i will grow this Hive account definitely.

Hang in there, don't post low value material, don't post other people's content, don't post news articles that you didn't write, those are things that will grow your account and help get the hivewatchers off your back.
Do you know how to post links to the sources of your material? If not, you should learn, that goes a LONG way to preventing your problems, but you still need to do ORIGINAL work.

I just checked your profile, it looks like you've only posted 3 posts, and without looking closely (I didn't open any of the posts) you may have been copying stuff, posting non-original content. You've been blacklisted
You must do better

Yeah i was blacklisted, but I've contacted Hivewatchers on discord to rectify it.

Thank for your care.

You're welcome. That's a good first step, let them know you didn't know you were doing something frowned upon, and change that behavior.

What means do you recommend I should take in order to rectify the Blacklist

When I looked at your profile yesterday, the three posts that were not reblogs, appeared to be news articles.
If you copied news articles from somewhere and simply posted them here, that's plagiarism and strictly forbidden, you cannot make profit (upvotes) off other people's work.
I've seen others post 'book reviews' where large parts were copied, but then they would insert commentary of their own, in their own words ABOUT what had been pasted, and you can take something and INTERPRET IT, making it YOU words rather than Copy/paste the words of the original author.
Even that is sort of a gray area, but as long as you link out to the source, for instance google translate creates a link to another place where the reader can go to see where you got your information. (That is simply a translation of a comment I wrote in reply to a Spanish speaking friend.)
If you don't know how to do that, I can help, but if you use only a phone, I may not know how to do that.

Thanks alot, i really appreciate your efforts.

good idea! and if there's any residual soda left you can always lick it off if in need for a quick fix! haha. Great re purpose!

Good Morning and Thank you @bemillergallery, my whole idea was to make something out of a reusable, or in this case the discarded waste that would have probably not been recycled product, essentially making it for nothing. (I rinsed it out before I began)
